The Lagos Water Regatta is an annual water display and showcase of well crafted and beautiful boats and also competitions all organised by the Lagos State government.
This year's regatta was held at the Regatta Village along Oyinkan Abayomi Drive (formally Queen's Drive) on Sunday, 19th of April, 2015. The Regatta was slated to hold during the Easter celebration but was postponed due to election shifts which resulted in low turn outs of both VIPs and the public. Irrespective of this low turn out, the Regatta turned out successful.
